At Buyer Square, we understand that online shopping requires trust. To provide additional peace of mind, we offer an optional Damage Insurance Protection Plan for eligible products.

What is Damage Insurance?
Damage Insurance is an optional seller-provided protection plan that covers products that are:
- Damaged during transit
- Physically damaged upon delivery
- Incorrect / wrong product received
This protection is applicable only if all claim conditions are properly fulfilled.
Mandatory Unboxing Video (Compulsory)
To make a claim under Damage Insurance, a clear and continuous unboxing video is strictly required.
The video must:
- Start before opening the sealed package
- Clearly show the outer packaging and shipping label
- Show the package being opened without cuts or pauses
- Clearly display the product condition inside
⚠️ No unboxing video = No claim will be accepted under any circumstances.
Screenshots, edited clips, or partial videos will not be considered valid proof.
Coverage Conditions
Damage Insurance applies only if:
✔ The product is received damaged
✔ The product received is wrong or different from the order
The issue must be visible clearly in the unboxing video.
What is NOT Covered
Damage Insurance does not cover:
- Damage after the product has been used
- Customer mishandling or accidental drops after unboxing
- Normal wear and tear
- Water damage (unless product is water-resistant)
- Missing items without video proof
- Claims raised without unboxing video
- Claims raised after the allowed claim period
Claim Timeframe
- Claim must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
- Unboxing video and supporting images must be submitted at the time of claim
Claims raised after 48 hours will not be eligible.
Refund or Replacement Decision
After verification of the claim:
- Refund or replacement will be decided solely at the discretion of the seller
- Seller’s decision will be final and binding
- Partial or full refund may be issued depending on the case
Damage Insurance does not guarantee automatic refund or replacement.
Verification Process
Our team may:
- Review the unboxing video carefully
- Request additional images or details
- Reject claims if tampering, misuse, or fraudulent activity is suspected
Any attempt to misuse this policy may lead to claim rejection and restriction from future purchases.
